colleagues.pngWelcome to this site which aims both to serve the children's work advisers employed in the various dioceses of the Church of England and to help us serve the wider church. You will find a growing set of useful resources and information here, so why not bookmark us and return regularly?

And why not get in touch with your own  local diocesan adviser (or the C of E's own national adviser) if you don't yet know them? We now have a clickable map of dioceses to help you do that: find it here.

There is also a mailing list (hosted on Yahoo) for those interested in work with children called Child in the Midst.

......taking the lead from Christ, who, we read, 'took a little child and set him in the midst of them'. One of the unwelcome truths that Jesus obliges us to face for the sake of our healing and salvation is thus, apparently, our unwillingness to attend to children and to learn from them, to value them for who they are, not simply as imperfect adults. We should not overlook just how distinctive this is as part of the Christian world picture; no other faith or philosophy gives such prominence in its central story to children... Rowan Williams
